Media Used to Create the Oil Paintings on Canvas

 

· Gesso on canvas attached to wood stretcher bars used as support material

· Prisma color and watercolor pencils used to make original drawing on canvas

· Metalic acrylic paint for the gold borders of the painting

· Oil paint for the body of the painting

· Liquin is used as a vehicle for application and thinning of the oil paint and is also used as the final picture varnish

· Imprimatura
